About Angie McCartney
Angela Lucia McCartney was born in
Liverpool UK in November of 1929.
She married her first husband Eddie
in 1956 and daughter Ruth was born in February of 1960.
Sadly, Angie was widowed in ‘62 and in ‘64, her old friends
Mike and Bette introduced her to their Uncle Jim McCartney.
They married in November and spent 12 loving years
together, with Angie and Ruth at his side when he passed
over to the great tea dance in the sky in March of 1976.Angie’s life has always revolved around tea, from surviving
the Nazi bombings in air-raid shelters during WW2, to
celebrating the announcements of #1 chart hits with friend
John Lennon over breakfast at Rembrandt, the Liverpool
home in the 60’s. Today, starting out in a brand new business
at the age of 78, feisty as ever, Angie still begins each day
with a nice cup of tea.
It is the ritual that makes British working-class families talk, communicate, celebrate and commiserate and Angie has found some of the world’s finest organic teas, which she has become passionate about sharing with you. So put the kettle on, take off your shoes and explore Mrs. McCartney’s world of organic tea.
All you need is tea!

Angie this is so cool. Congratulations on your new venture. Every year around Christmas the women in my family get together in some wonderful local resturant for high tea. Its been so much fun that even a few of our sons attend each year. I was recently going through some old memorabilia and found an old newspaper article on my grandmother and she was opening a new furniture store at 75. Her love of business kept her healthy and living a great life until she was almost 100. Women like you set the bar higher for all us. What you are doing is truly exciting. I will pass your site along to all of my friends. You can count on me as a customer. Wishing you some amazing success. Judy Curran

How nice to read about you, I will see about your teas and order soon. Will you be offering special honeys, sugars, creams or soy milk, as well? The products here might be a little different and it would be wonderful to have the full flavour.
All the best from Houston.
